How can I extract files from a disc image?

How can I extract files from a disc image (which opens with Nero Burning ROM) stored in a DVD-R (which was burnt using Nero) ? The disc image is of a size 3,226,071 KB (3.7 GB) and the DVD has a capacity of 4.7 GB (File System: UDF) The disc image contains Encarta Encyclopedia 2006
